Since 1987, Upeks Group is in the sector and with Upeks Road Construction and Chemicals, which is one of Upeks Groups firm, fronted to asphalt sector, in the name of Upeks asphalt chemicals in 2000. The collabration with Turkish Highway Authorities, Upeks leaded in terms of introducing many additive products for increasing the performance of the asphalt in Turkey. Surface dressing with emulsion which is largely used in Europe and USA, firstly used in Turkey by Upeks in 2004 with cationic and anionic emulsion on the emulsion plant which is used for surface dressing.
Since 2005, Upeks created 4 road construction teams for road construction. Furthermore, Upeks constructed the roads of Turkish highway Authorities, municipalities and the special provincial directorate of administrations. ( bitumen emulsion and surface dressing with duplex emulsion). Upeks Road Construction and Chemicals is the first company who became a member of IBEF ( International Bitumen Emulsion Federation).
